ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER,
IN the matter of that certain contract known as Contract No. L-7772 for
the construction of an Ornamental Lighting System on Arcade Street, City
Project No. M-0430A, Collins Electric Company, Contractor, #she specified
completion date is August 30, 1974, and due to the fact that 'the Contractor
could not obtain delivery of the necessary lighting standards in time to
complete this construction by August 30, 1974, it is hereby
ORDERED, that the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed
to execute an amendment to said contract extending the time of completion tq
June 30, 1975, provided however, that this Order shall have no force or effect
unless the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto and file such
consent in writing with the Head of the Finance Department of the City of Saint
Paul ; and it is
FURTHER ORDERED, that the City of St. Paul hereby waives all claim for
liquidated damages and that no Engineering and Inspection costs on this project
will be charged to the Contractor for such extended period.
