ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, That the premises at 882-884 Galtier Avenue,
having sustained a fire in the last week, and the Building Department
having advised the Mayor that the premises is unboarded, open to
vandals and presents a serious danger to the health and safety of
the citizens in the area and, further, the Building Department having
advised the Mayor that the premises is beyond repair, now, therefore,
the Mayor of the City of Saint Paul, pursuant to the powers vested
in him by law and charter, hereby declares a state of emergency with
regard to the premises known as 882-884 Galtier and in order to protect
the lives and safety of neighboring residents, particularly children,
hereby
ORDERS the proper City officials to immediately proceed with the
razing and destruction of the structures identified above and to
assess the costs thereof against the land pursuant to statute and,
be it
FURTHER ORDERED, that the proper City Officials in the Building
Department are further directed to contact the record owner, Duane
Bailey and Joseph Rheinberger, his attorney, and Singer Electric
Company, a lien holder, to advise them of the foregoing action and
• serve a copy of this Order upon them
