ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, that due to an emergency, the Purchasing Agent is authorized
to hire a plumber for the Department of Public Works, Division of Maintenance Services
from the John Carlson Company, a licensed house drain contractor in St. Paul,
Minnesota, to repair a defective sewer connection at 117-123 West Sixth Street.
A complete new sewer connection must be made
which consists of starting in the basement,
then running new pipes to the existing tunnel,
plus re-hooking up the vent pipes in the
existing manhole in the building.
Total amount of contract not to exceed . . . $3,000.00
This repair work is urgent because Northern States Power Company's underground power
tunnel at the intersection of Sixth and Washington Streets is being endangered due
to the leakage.
