ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, That the Report with Recommendations (copy attached) as
submitted by the Department of Public Works concerning the necessity of acquiring
a 13 foot wide strip of additional right-of-way on the north side of SIXTH STREET
from Minnesota Street to 180 feet east for the purpose of constructing a right
turn lane (City Project No. P-0408CR) , is hereby approved. The Department of
Finance and Management Services is hereby authorized and directed, with assistance
as necessary from the Department of Public Works, to meet with the owners of the
land proposed for said acquisition and to provide said owners with detailed expla-
nations as to the acquisition, pursuant to Resolution, C.F. No. 259491 approved
August 21 , 1972. The additional right-of-way to be acquired is detailed as follows,
and is further shown on the attached copy of the Department of Public Works Street
Easement Drawing No. 2223, Drawer 4, dated September 12, 1973.
Acquire a permanent easement for street and highway purposes on, over and across
the following described land:
The southeasterly 13 feet of Lots 11 , 12 and 13, Block 4,
City of St. Paul .
The Department of Finance and Management Services is further authorized and directed
to then proceed with the acquisition of the above described land as provided by law
and, if necessary, to bring this matter before the City Council for approval .
