OFFICE OF THE MAYOR Date: AUG 31 1973 ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, That the Report with Recommendations (copy attached) , as submitted by ;he Department of Public Works concerning an investigation of acquiring right-of-way can the south side of BURNS AVENUE from Ruth Street to McKnight Road for the proposed idening and paving of BURNS AVENUE (City Project No. P--055411) , is here- by approved. The Department of Finance and Management Services is hereby authorized , in conjunction with the Department of Public Works, to meet with the owners of the land proposed for acquisition and to provide said owners with detailed explanations as to the acquisition, pursuant to Resolution C.F. No. 259491 approved August 21 , 1972• The additional right-of-way to be acquired is detailed as follows, and is further shown on the attached set of prints of the Department of Public Works right-of-way plans (Project No. P-05548) . Acquire a permanent easement for street and highway purposes to open, widen and extend BURNS AVENUE from Ruth Street to McKnight Road on, over and across the following de- scribed lands: The northerly 20 feet of Lots 1 through 8 inclusive, Block 21 , Battle Creek Heights Plat 3. Also those parts of Lots 1 through 9 inclusive and Lot 14, Block 20, Battle Creek Heights Plat 3, lying northerly of a line 50 feet southerly of and parallel to the north line of Section 2, Township 28 North, Range 22 West. Also acquire temporary easements in the land necessary for slopes, cuts and • fills inlluding right of removal of lateral support from subject lands or remaindetr thereof occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in the goading and paving of BURNS AVENUE from Ruth Street to McKnight Road. If necessary, 'the Department of Finance and Management Services is further authorized and instructed to schedule this matter for a public hearing before the City Council .
