ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, That pursuant to verbal reports communicated
to me by the office of the City Attorney and the City Building
Department, I hereby declare that an emergency exists at the premises
known as 818 Ashland, said emergency being declared pursuant to the
authority vested in me by Ordinance No. 15154, Section 2, Paragraph 5;
and it is hereby
ORDERED, that the Building Department and the Public Works
Department are hereby authorized and directed to take the necessary
steps to immediately abate the nuisance and fire hazard existing at
said premises, and it is
FURTHER ORDERED, That the Building Department shall proceed while the
abatement process is going on to mail written notice to the occupant
of 818 Ashland, one Alma Thom, advising her as to the reasons for the
immediate action and shall further see that she is given due written
notice of the costs of the abatement proceedings and said costs shall
be assessed against the property as provided in Chapter 14 of the
City Charter.
