ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER,
WHEREAS, Robert Stober, an employee of the Department
of Public Safety, Bureau of Police, was injured in a third
party accident on February 9, 1972, while engaged in the per-
formance of his duties; and
WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in the
amount of $219. 15 therefor, and said employee was disabled
from work for a period of time being paid salary in the amount
of $339.60 for which the City may claim credit at the rate of
$80.00 per week; and
WHEREAS, a compromise settlement has been negotiated between
said employee and the other party involved in said accident,
and further, a compromise settlement has been negotiated between
said employee and the City; and
WHEREAS, the amount due and owing said employee, his attorney,
Ronald Evans, and the City is all included in one draft in
the amount of $1 , 500.00, receipt of which is hereby acknow-
ledged; and
WHEREAS, separate drafts for all the parties concerned
are not easily obtainable and because of this, the City has
agreed to the disbursing of the funds; now, therefore, be it
ORDERED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized
to endorse the aforementioned draft of $1 ,500.00 and $419.07
of this amount is to be acceptd in full , final and complete
settlement of the City' s claim herein; to execute any necessary
releases therefore; and that of said sum $128.00 is thereby
credited to the Police Salary Fund and $291 .07 to the Workmen' s
Compensation Fund; be it

FURTHER ORDERED, that the proper City officials are hereby
authorized to remit to Robert Stober and his attorney, Ronald
Evans, as co-payees, the remainder balance of the draft of
$1 , 500.00; that being the sum of $1 ,080.93.
