The Director of the Department of Public Works is directed to investigate
the necessity for constructing public storm sewers in the following streets:
In CUMBERLAND ST. from Maryland Ave. to 1532' south
In MARYLAND AVE. from Cumberland St. to Virginia St.
and from Farrington St. to Albemarle St.
In WESTERN AVE. from Geranium Ave. to Maryland Ave.
In VIRGINIA ST. from Jessamine Ave. to Geranium Ave.
and from Maryland Ave. to Orange Ave.
In GERANIUM AVE. from Western Ave. to Virginia St.
In ROSE AVE. from Western Ave. to Virginia St.
and from Matilda St. to Galtier St.
In COOK AVE. from Virginia St. to Matilda St.
In MATILDA ST. from Cook Ave. to Rose Ave.
and from Orange Ave. to Ivy Ave.
In GALTIER ST. from Cook Ave. to Jessamine Ave.
and from Geranium Ave. to Maryland Ave.
In MARION ST. from Rose Ave. to Burlington Northern
Right-of-Way
In an easement to be obtained across the Burlington
Northern Right-of-Way to the Troutbrook Sewer.
In WOODBRIDGE ST. from Rose Ave. to Maryland Ave.
In ORANGE AVE. from Albemarle St. to Marion St.
and in JESSAMINE AVE. from Matilda St. to Galtier St.
All to be known as the MARYLAND-GALTIER RELIEF SEWER SYSTEM. He is
authorized to obtain surveys, prepare plans and make cost estimates.
If he determines that this project is necessary, he shall submit
these along with his recommendations to the Director of the Department
of Finance.
