ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, In the matter of that certain contract formerly known
as Comptroller's Contract L-7434-2 for the construction of traffic signals on Seventh St.
at the following intersections: W. Seventh St. and Munster St. , W. Seventh St. and May-
nard, W. Seventh St. and St. Paul Ave. , W. Seventh St. , Montreal and Lexington Pkwy. ,
W. Seventh St. and Otto Ave. , W. Seventh St. , Randolph Ave. and Osceola Ave. , W. Seventh
St. and Jefferson Ave. , W. Seventh St. and St. Clair Ave. , W. Seventh St. and Goodhue St. ,
W. Seventh St. and Smith Ave. , W. Seventh St. , Ramsey St. and Grand Ave. , W. Seventh St.
and Chestnut St. , E. Seventh St. and Payne Ave. , E. Seventh St. and Mounds Blvd. , E. Sev-
enth St. and Maria Ave. , E. Seventh St. and Hope St. , E. Seventh St. and Arcade St. ,
Minnehaha Ave. and Arcade St. , E. Seventh St. , Mendota St. and Minnehaha Ave. , E. Seventh
St. and Forest St. , City's Project No. 71-T-1020-B, Hunt Electric Corporation, Contractor,
the specified date of completion is August 18, 1972.
WHEREAS, The Contractor was unable to complete the contract by said date of com-
pletion due to circumstances beyond his control , it is hereby
ORDERED, That the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to
execute an amendment to said contract extending the time of completion to November 10,
1972, provided however, that this Order shall have no force or effect unless the sureties
on the Contractor's bond consent thereto and file such consent in writing with the Head
of the Finance Department of the City of Saint Paul ; and it is
FURTHER ORDERED, That the City of Saint Paul hereby waives all claim for liquidated
damages and that no engineering and inspection costs on this project will be charged to
the Contractor for such extended period.
