ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER,
WHEREAS, the goal of the Saint Paul Sister Cities Program is to provide international
cultural , economic and educational opportunities for the City of Saint Paul ;
and
WHEREAS, in order to further this goal , the Saint Paul Sister Cities Program
is organizing an event for the youth of Saint Paul for Kidsday on
October 7, 1990 at the Minnesota World Trade Center.
WHEREAS, part of the programming for the event will include musical entertainment
representing each of Saint Paul 's Sister Cities.
WHEREAS, the groups that are providing the entertainment for the event are
foregoing the normal fees they might charge for their services but would appreciate
a stipend to defray their costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Department of Planning and Economic Development (PED)
is hereby authorized to provide a $30.00 stipend to each of the six entertainment
groups that will be performing at the Sister Cities Kidsday event for a total
• of $180.00 and may use funds from the PED Sister Cities Budget to finance
this expenditure.
