ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER,
That the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to
remit to Don and Grace Knopf, Lazy K Ranch, Route 2 Box 16, Kenyon, Minn.
55246. In accordance to the below fee rate per day for services in the
pulling of the departments historic 1896 Paddy Wagon at public functions.
The service would be for two horses and one driver to accomplish this
task. This service request would be initiated by the Police Department.
Any single day event within the city limits of St. Paul, the fee would
be $125.00.
For any special event that is held out of the City of St. Paul and the
distance traveled by the Knopfs is greater than the distance from the
Knopf's residence to the City of St. Paul, and the Chief of Police feels
that participating in the event would benefit the St. Paul Police
Department or the City of St. Paul, the fee would be $165.00.
An event that requires an extra day, outside the City of St. Paul, the
fee would be an additional $75.00.
• Due to the value of the Paddy Wagon, the City is desirous of its careful
operation and maintenance. Since the Knopfs are knowledgeable about
such matters, they are hereby authorized to incur supply or repair costs
of up to two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) per occurrence for which
they will be reimbursed.
