1 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department Professional Development Institute is sponsoring a one-
2 day seminaz on Health Realization for law enforcement course.
4 WHEREAS, this course is scheduled for March 13, 2001, and will be conducted at the Saint Paul Police
5 Department, Eastern District, 722 Payne Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55101.

7 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department will enter into an agreement Events By Design, located
8 at 2236 Cypress, Woodbury, MN 55125 to provide morning breakfast and afternoon snack for refreshments at
9 this training.

11 WHEREAS, the purpose of this training is to train local law enforcement personnel on enhancing an
12 officer's experience of work and family life. This course is based on the scientific method of Health Realization
13 and is designed for pah•ol officers who may have forgotten the satisfaction and fun of police work.

5 Be it ordered that pursuant to the 2006 City Budget, the proper City Officials are hereby authorized to
16 remit an amount not to exceed $200.00 to Events By Design, located at 2236 Cypress Drive, Woodbury, MN
17 55125. This is to cover expenses for food service far the outside agencies participating in the Health
18 Realization for law enforcement course. This includes morning breakfast and afternoon snack for this course.

trained at no cost. In order to provide uninterrupted training, morning and a8ernoon snacks will be provided.
