Yeas – 7 Nays - 0 Resolution Ratifying Assessment – 07-171 – In the matter of the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for summary abatement (property clean-ups) from December 1, to December 27, 2006 (J0618A); providing weekly garbage hauling services from December 5 to December 27, 2006 (J0616G). (Legislative Hearing Officer recommends approval) Council President Lantry moved to lay the resolution over to April 18 for a public hearing due to a notification issue. Yeas – 7 Nays – 0 Suspension Item Councilmember Helgen moved suspension of the rules to introduce the following resolution: Yeas – 7 Nays – 0 Resolution – 07-196 – Approving the 2008 Federal Legislative Priorities. Councilmember Helgen and Mike Wilhelmi, Mayor’s Office, stated this resolution was for projects under $300 million. Even though the Central Corridor is a priority for the City, it wasn’t included on this resolution as it is funded on the County level where there are specific appropriations for it.
