WFiEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department Professional Development Institute is sponsoring a Field
Training Officer Certification course.
WHEREAS, this course is scheduled for December 4'" , 5�', 6�', 7�', and 8"', 2000, and will be conducted
at the Center for Criminal Justice Law Enforcement, 1380 Energy Lane, Saint Paul, Mn. 55108.
Be it ordered that pursuant to the 2000 City Budget, the proper City Officials are hereby authorized to
remit an amount not to exceed 1050.00 to Events By Design, located at 2236 Cypress Drive, Woodbury, NIN
55125. This is to cover expenses for food service for the outside agencies participating in the Fieid Training
Officer Certification course. This includes morning breakfast and afternoon snack far this course.
A copy of said order is to be kept on file and of record in the Office of Finance Services

e Saint Paul Police Professional Development Insfitute will be sponsorin� a 5-day seminar entitled "Breaking Routine:
Fielding Training Officex Instrucrion and Certificarion_" The seminar will be held December 4-3, 200Q at the CCJLE,
1380 Energy Lane, Saint Paul, Minnesota, 55104, from 08-1630 HRS. The seminar will be offered to outside Agencies,
and personnel from the Police Department would be able to attend the training for free.
By providing breakfast and aftemoon snacks, the training will continue without much intexruption.
