An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8943, approved
July 29, 1947, entitled:
"An ordinance to license and regulate the
business of maintaining and operating
laundries or dry-cleaning establishments,
or laundry or dry-cleaning pick-up stations
in the City of Saint Paul, and providing
a penalty for the violation thereof. "
as amended.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8943, approved July 29, 1947,
be and the same hereby is further amended by striking therefrom
Section 1 thereof in its entirety and by inserting in lieu
thereof the following:
"No person, firm or corporation shall engage in the
business of operating a laundry or dry-cleaning
establishment or a laundry or dry-cleaning pick-up
station nor engage in the business of rug cleaning
within the limits of the City of Saint Paul without
first having obtained a license so to do in ac-
cordance with the terms and provisions of this
ordinance. "
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty days after its passage, approval and publication.
