An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 10806, approved
July 24, 1956, entitled:
"An ordinance granting permission to First
State Bank of St. Paul to grade and surface with
bituminous material, the alley in Block 14,
Arlington Hills Addition to St. Paul, from Payne
Avenue to a point 270 feet east of the east line
of Payne Avenue. This is an emergency ordinance
rendered necessary for the preservation of the
public peace, health and safety."

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 10806, approved July 24,
1956, is hereby amended by striking from Paragraph 4 of
Section 1 the following: "November 1, 1956" and by inserting
in lieu thereof the following "August 1, 1957".
Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an
emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health and safety.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force upon its passage, approval and publication.
