An ordinance prohibiting the advertis by , ,

poration is a licensed tradesman in the trades
hereinafter designated, unless such be the
fact; making such acts unlawful; and providing
penalties for the violation thereof. This is
an emergency ordinance, rendered necessary for
the preservation of the public peace, health
and safety.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:

no person, firm or corporation shall advertise, in any manner,
type or form, nor in any tanner state to, or hold out to the
public, that such person, firm or corporation is a licensed
electrical contractor, gas burner installation contractor,
gas range installer, oil burner installation contractor,
plastering contractor, plumbing contractor, refrigeration
equipment installation contractor, steam fitting contractor,
warm air heating contraotor, ventilation contractor, general
sheet metal contractor or welding contractor (structural and
pressure) , unless such person, firm or corporation has been
licensed under and pursuant to the ordinances of the City of
Saint Paul pertaining thereto.
Section 2. Any person violating the provisions of this
ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be
punished by a fine not exceeding One Hundred Dollars (3100.00)
or by imprisonment in the workhouse for a period not to exceed
thirty (30) days.
Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an
emergency ordinance, rendered necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health and safety.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage, approval and publication.
