An ordinance appropriating the unexpended balance in the Finance
Commissioner Fund at the end of the year 1956 after all obligations and
purposes for which the fungi was appropriated have been provided for.
This is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health and safety.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul Does Ordain:
SECTION 1
That the unexpended balance in the Finance Commissioner Fund is
hereby appropriated and set aside for the purpose of paying the salaries
of the department and purchasing supplies and equipment for the -year 1957.
SECTION 2
This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance
rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and
safety.
SECTION 3
This ordinance shall take effect and.be in force immediately upon
