Dear Commissioner':
ROBERT E. O'CONNELL
SPECIAL AssISTANT
It has been brought to the attention of
the City Prosecutor's office that certain busi-
ness establishments in ..Iahing to comply with
the ordinance of the City have sought and ob-
tained licenses under both the dance hall and
tavern license ordinances.
Without the amendment as proposed, whenever
one of the business' wish to operate as a tavern
it would do so in violation of the regulations
of their dance hall license. We therefore rec-
ommend the passage of this ordinance.so as to
assist in the enforcement of this law.
