An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3250?, entitled:
"An administrative ordinance relating to: the Civil
Service Bureau of the City of ,Saint Paul, approving and
adopting rules and. regulations therefor, 11
approved August 20, 1914, as amended.
THE COUNCIL{ OF' THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL, DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 3250?, approved August 20, 1914,
as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out
subdivision (c) of Section 35 F 3. and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
11(c) that no employee or his estate shall be paid severance pay for
more than two hundred dayb � accumulated and unused sick leave credits
at the rate of one -half day's pay-for each full day's credits, nor more
than $3, 500. 00. However, if the total severance pay for such two
hundred days is less. than $2, 500. 00 and the employee has additional
accumulated and unused sick leave credits in excess of two. hundred
days, he or his estate shall be paid for such additional days credits
at the rate of one -half day's pay for each full day's credits, but
such total severance pay shall not exceed $2, 500. 00. 1i•
Section 2. This,,�rdinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
days after its passage, approval, and publication.
