"An ordinance fixing the duties and responsi-
bilities and the minimum qualifications for the various classes
of positions in the Classified Service of the City, 11
approved February 13, 1935, as amended.
THE COUNCIL, OF THE, CITY OF SAINT PAUL. DOES ORDAIN:
,Section 1. That Ordinance No. 7607, approve;_i Febxuary 13,
1935, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended,b s.trking
out the "Minimum qualifications" in the specifications for !Toren adnF
Public Works" and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"Eighth -grade education and
I year's experience as a Crew Leader or "District Foreman; or,
2 years' experience as a Senior Engineering Aide, at least one
year of which shall have been on inspection or construction
projects; or,
3 years' experience as an Unskilled Laborer; or as a Semi-
skilled Laborer, Truck Driver, Road Machinery Operator,
Motor Equipment Operator, or Power Shovel Operator on
maintenance and construction projects of the Department of
Public Works."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty days after its passage, approval, and publication.
