An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 10725, entitled:
"An ordinance granting permission and authority
to the Village ov.Roseville to connect the public
sewer system of said Village of Roseville to the
public sewer system of the City of Saint Paul and
thereafter maintain and operate the same as an
outlet for said public sewer system of said Village
for public sewage conveyance and disposal purposes,
and providing applicable terms and conditions."
approved January 20, 1956. This is an emergency ordinance rendered
necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the first paragraph of Section 3 of said
ordinance No. 10725, approved January 20, 1956, shall be and hereby
is amended so that the same shall read as follows:
"That said Village of Roseville shall
neither suffer nor permit the installation, main -
_.tenance or operation of any sewer service connec-
tion between its said public sewer system and any
parcel of real property situate outside its cor-
porate limits, except that said Village may permit
the installation, maintenance and operation of a
sewer service connection between its said public
sewer system and the following described real
property, lying beyond its corporate limits and
situate in the Village of Little Canada, County of
Ramsey, State of Minnesota, to -wit:
The N2 of the NW, of the SW4 of Section
7, Township 29 North, Range 22 West,
according to the United States Govern-
ment Survey thereof;

and except that said Village of Roseville may permit
the installation, maintenance and operation of a sewer
service connection between its said public sewer
system and the following described real property
lying beyond its corporate limits and situate-in
the Village of Shoreview, County of Ramsey, State
of Minnesota, to -wit:
Sections 35 and 36 and also all that
part of Sections 25 and 26 lying South
of the South right -of -way line of
Interstate Highway No. 394 and also that
part of said Section 25 lying ` Torth-
easterly of said Interstate Highway and
Southeasterly of the Southeasterly right -
of -way line of the Minneapolis, St. Paul
and Sault Ste. Marie Railway; all in
Township,30 North, Range 23 West, Ramsey
County, Minnesota, according to the United
States Government Survey thereof;
solely for sanitary sewage'drainage purposes and = subject=
to all provisions, terms and conditions of this ordinance
which are hereby made applicable thereto with the same
intent, purpose and effect as if sucy next above
described real property were entirely situate within
the corporate limits of said V llage of Roseville. That
no connection other than•that Authorized under Section
1 of this-ordinance directly between the public sewer
system of said Village of Roseville and the public
sewer system of said City shall be constructed,°main-
tained or operated without further express authorization
therefor by the Council of said City."
Section 2. Thy the operative effect of this ordinance and-
its amendment of said prior Ordinance No. 107259 shall be contingent
upon the acceptance of the same by said Village of Roseville not
later than 60 days next after the passage and approval of this
ordinance, such acceptance by said Village to be represented by its
enactment of an ordinance formally accepting this ordinance and
agreeing to abide by all of the provisions, terms and conditions of
the same, and the filingcf a certified copy of such Village ordinance
with the City Clerk and with the City Comptroller of said City of
St. Paul.
Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an- emergency
ordinance rendered necessary fdr the preservation of the public peace,
health and safety.
` Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon
its pasage, approval and publication.
