Examples of work performed: To confer with civil defense service chiefs in areas such as com- munications, engineering, etc. , regarding training needs. To prepare course outlines and organize instructional materials for training programs. To develop techniques for presentation of instructional material. To prepare and maintain up -to -date training manuals. To conduct training sessions for volunteer civil defense workers. To evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and teaching methods. To coordinate training programs of the various local units with the civil defense training programs of state and federal agencies. To develop a local civil defense operations plan, To plan and conduct local civil defense tests and exercises. To develop the operational techniques of the control center staff. To serve as Operations Officer for the Unicom I area. To appear before conventions and meetings to explain and promote the civil defense program.
