This is any emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation'of the public peace, health and safety. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That said Ordinance No. li061, approved July 26, 1957, as amended, be.and the same hereby is further amended so that thereunder and thereby the Village of Maplewood shall be granted permission and authority, subject to all the terms and conditions therein expressed, to construct and thereafter maintain and operate suitable connections, according to conventional engineering standards approved as to construction, location and elevation by the Com- missioner of Public Works of the City of Saint Paul, joining the public sewer system of said Village with the public sewer system of said City, in the nature of and to be maintained and operated as the only outlets for said public sewer system of said Village and for the expeditious, convenient and effective conveyance and disposal of sewage entering said public sewer system of said Village, at or adjacent to the intersections of Larpenteur Avenue and Rice Street Larpenteur Avenue and Adolphus Street 0 Larpenteur- Avenue and Westminster Street Q Larpenteur Avenue and Agate Street; IJ. 1y and that for said purpose the'listing of connections between said Village public sewer system and said City public sewer system, con - Q tained in Section 1 of said Ordinance, as amended, shall be and the same herebyis supplemented and extended so as to include the follow- ing additional listings to beinserted therein immediately follow- ing the last of such listings now contained therein: Larpenteur Avenue and Dice Street Larpenteur Avenue and Adolphus Street Larpenteur Avenue and Westminster Street Larpenteur Avenue-and Agate Street. a Yeas Councilmen Nays DeCourcy Holland Mortinson Peterson Rosen Winkel Mr. President (Dillon) Attest: City Clerk 1M 8 -59 a Oept.8 Passed by the Council Approved: Mayor Tn Favor Against Section 2.
