An administrative ordinance granting to the City Counci
of the City of Saint Paul the power and authority to reclass
and renumber by Resolution, special funds which have heretof
or may hereafter be established, and an ordinance enabling t
Council of the City of Saint Paul to reclassify and renumbe
special funds by resolution whenever such reclassification I
renumbering is not inconsistent with the provisions of the C
Charter and notwithstanding the fact that such reclassificat
and renumbering may conflict with prior ordinances and resol
tions. This is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary f o
the preservation of the public peace, health and safety.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul does ordain:
SECTION I
Notwithstanding the provisions of any prior ordinance o
resolution of the City of Saint Paul, the Council of the Cit
of Saint Paul is hereby empowered and authorized to reclassi
and renumber by Resolution, all special funds which have at
various times heretofore been established by the City Counci
or which may hereafter be established; whenever such reclass
cation and renumbering is not inconsistent with the provisio
of the City Charter of the City of Saint Paul.
SECTION II
Whenever the City Council of the City of Saint Paul by
Resolution directs such reclassification and renumbering of
said special funds, the City Comptroller of the City of Sain
Z Paul shall forthwith cause such special funds to be reclassi
o and renumbered in accordance with the directions of the City
Council.

The Council of the City of Saint Paul is further authorized
to effect such reclassification and renumbering of said 1pecial
funds*at such times as it deems such changes necessary 4d proper
in order to achieve the uniform and orderly system of accounting
for said funds which is the purpose of this ordinance. I
SECTION V
This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency or_di-
nance,rendered necessary for the preservation of the public
peace, health and safety.
SECTION VI
This ordinance shall be- enforced upon its passagel, approval
and publication.
