WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Department of Planning and Economic Development
has been a participant/member of the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of
Housing and Redevelopment O�cials; and
WHEREAS, the Chapter is hosting the 1999 National Summer Conference July 22-25,
1999 at the Minneapolis Hilton; and
WHEREAS, the mission of the Department of Planning and Economic Development is
in partnership with others to encourage investment and increase value in Sai�t Paul;a.+d
WHEREAS, members of the Minnesota Chapter have agreed to co-sponsor a
welcoming reception for our national colleagues; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Department of Planning and Economic Development has
agreed to contribute $1,000 from accounting code P6-126-36075-0255-64603.
BE IT SO ORDERED, the proper city officials are hereby authorized ta pay the above-
amount for the conference reception.
