AN ORDINANCE 'PROHIBITING THE SOLICITATION,
INDUCEMENT OR THE ATTEMPT TO SOLICIT, OR
INDUCE ANOTHER TO LEWD AND ILLICIT SEXUAL
INTERCOURSE OR INDECENT BEHAVIOR AND PRO-
VIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
THIS IS AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RENDERED
NECESSARY FOR THE PRESERVATION OF THE
PUBLIC PEACE, HEALTH AND SAFETY.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:

SECTION 1
Any person who shall, within the corporate limits
of the City of Saint Paul, invite,' or attempt to'
invite or induce another or others, by any means of com-
munication, including telephone, to commit lewd and illicit
sexual intercourse or indecent behavior of whatsoever type
or nature, or who shall appear in or be within the corporate
limits of the City of St. Paul for the purpose of inducing,
inviting or attempting to induce or invite another or others
to commit lewd and illicit sexual intercourse or indecent
behavior of whatsoever type or nature, shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor.
SECTION 2
Any offense committed by or with the use of a
telephone as set forth above may be deemed to have been
committed either at the place from which the telephone call
or calls were made or at the place where the telephone call
or calls were received.
Any person

SECTION 4
This ordinance shall be deemed a part of the
Legislative Code of the City of Saint Paul and shall be
incorporated therein and_given an appropriate Chapter number
and /or Section number at the time of the next revision
of said Legislative Code.
SECTION 5
This ordinance is hereby declared to be an
emergency ordinance'rendered necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health and safety.
SECTION 6
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage, approval and publication.
