WHEREAS, the citizens of Saint Paul recognize the importance of the diverse communities that make
Saint Paul a vibrant urban center, and:
WHEREAS, citizens of Saint Faul celebrate and honor tbe many contributions of African Americaus
toward making our country a}ust and honored society during Black History Month in February, 1999,
and;
WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paui in conjunction with City Clerks Office, Human Rights Department,
Office of the City Attorney, and the Office of Affirmative Action for the city, partnered together to
celebrate Black History month with a number of events, and;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED, that the proper city officials aze authorized to pay amounts totaling
$539.88 to this event.
WHEREAS, the cost of these promotions and events need to be paid and;
