WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Public Library wi11 hold a11 day "Faces of Leadership Seminars" in
1999 for library employees to develop skills for future leaders within the Library in
anticipation of upcoming retirements, and
WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Public Library will be providing lunch for the participants,
WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Public Library has received monies from The Perrie Jones Library
Fund to pay for the events, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, It is ordered that library officials are authorized and
directed to undertake the staging of the events and remit the cost not to exceed $500 for
the luncheons to the proper parties.

The Penie Jones Lihrary fund has donated monies to fund leadership seminars to develop leadership among library
staff in anticipation of fixture retirements. These seminars are all day sessions that include lunch.
