An ordinance amending the St. Paul Legislative Code, Section 308.01, pertaining to intoxicating liquor. This is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Section 308.01 of the St. Paul Legislative Code be and the same hereby is amended in the following particulars: That the definition of "Restaurant" in said section, which now reads: "'Restaurant.' 1Restaura.ntt shall mean an establishment other than a hotel, under the control of a single proprietor or manager, having appropriate facilities for the serving of meals for not less than 50 guests at one time, and where, in consideration of payment therefor, meals are regularly furnished at table to the general public and which employs an adequate staff to provide the usual and suitable service to its guests, and the principal part of which business is the serving of foods." is amended to read: "t Restaurant. f 'Restaurant' shall mean an establishment other than a hotel, under the control of a single proprietor or manager, having appropriate facilities for the serving of meals for not less than 50 guests at one time:" and the definition of "Exclusive Liquor Store" in said section, which now reads: "'Exclusive Liquor Store.' mExclusive liquor store' shall mean an establishment used for toff sales sales of intoxicating liquor only, except that in addition to such liquor, cigars, cigarettes, all forms of tobacco, non- intoxicating malt beverages and soft drinks may be s)ld therein at retail, upon obtaining proper state or city licenses for such sale; and provided further that such beverages and drinks shall be sold for consumption off the premises only." is amended to read: "'Exclusive Liquor.
