Examples of work performed: To compile electric, steam, gas, water and sewer data for rate- , making purposes. To supervise and to conduct appraisals of public utility properties and to report findings to the Commissioner of Public Utilities. To investigate, analyze and summarize monthly reports from utility companies. To make such other studies and investigations as will keep the Commissioner properly informed with respect to public utility earnings, rate of return on properties, etc. Minimum qualifications: College graduation in mechanical or electrical engineering and ten years' professional experience, five years of which must have been in positions involving duties essentially the same as those specified for this position.
