An Ordinance amending the Zoning Code, Chapters 60 to 64, inclusive, of the Saint -Paul Legislative Code, pertaining to Use Districts, Height Districts and Rezoning of certain properties in the City of Saint Paul, as amended. This is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, and safety. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That the Zoning Code, Chapters 60 to 64, inclusive, of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, pertaining to Use Districts, Height Districts, and Rezoning of certain properties in the'City of Saint Paul, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended so as to rezone the following described property from "Bll Residence District to "C" Residence District, to -wit: Lots 11, 125 13, 145 15, and except the east 20 feet, Lot 10, Block 2, Schurmeier and Evans Addition to St. Paul, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County Minnesota, also known as 680 Greenbrier Street; subject to the following conditions: That, in the event the hereinabove described real estate, in whole or in part, shall be taken and condemned for public highway purposes by the City of Saint Paul, the County of Ramsey, the State of Minnesota or the United States of America within the period of fifteen (15) years next succeeding the effective date of this Ordinance, the compensation required to be paid or secured by the condemnor on such account shall not include any consideration of value of said real estate or involve any item of damages.-solely attributable to the aforesaid rezoning of said real estate hereunder or to any future improvement of the same dependent for its validity upon such rezoning and the owners of said refiastate within 90 days next after the effective date of this Ordina c i.le in two counter- parts with the City Clerk their written covenant approved by the Corporation Counsel in recordable form running with the land and accordingly delimiting the compensation to be paid or secured in any such case, by the condemnor, and the City Clerk shall forthwith cause one of said counterparts to be recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for said County or with the Registrar of said County in the event that said real estate shall be'regis- tered land.
