WHEREAS, The Markeung and Promotions Department has been directed to assist neighborhoods in
mazketing and promoting their respective events for the public good, and;
WHEREAS, The Mazketing and Promotions Department is assisting in the promotion of the following
projects: Jackson Street Roundhouse/Minnesota Transportation Museum (approx. $7,000), Highland
Fest (approx. $1,500), Frogtown Fest (approx. $1,000), Dayton's Bluff (approx. $2,000), Snelling
Midway Art Fair (approx. $3,000) and;
WHEREAS, the cost of these promotions need to be paid and;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED, that the proper city officials aze authorized to pay amounts totaling
$14,500 to these events.
