AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 320.04
OF THE SAINT PAUL LEGISLATIVE CODE, RELAT
ING TO THE TRANSFERENCE OF GARBAGE COLLEC-
TION LICENSES.. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE
RENDERED NECESSARY FOR THE PRESERVATION OF
THE PUBLIC PEACE, HEALTH AND SAFETY.
THE COUNCIL(F THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. An Ordinance amending Section 320.04 of the
Saint Paul Legislative Code by string the same therefrom and
inserting in,lieu thereof the following:

11320.04 NON- TRANSFERABLE. No License issued
under the provisions of this Chapter shall
be transferable. Licenses granted in 1964
and thereafter shall be issued for a period
of one (1) year commencing January 1, and
expiring December 31. Licenses granted any
time during 1964 shall expire December 31,
1964. Credit toward the 1965 Garbage Collec-
tion license fee may be given to renewing
license applicants on a pro -rated basis using
a basis or standard of One Dollar ($1.00)
per month."
Section 2. This is an emergency ordinance rendered
necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and I
safety.

force upon its passage, approval and publication.
