AN ORDINANCE.AMENDING ZONING CODE, CHAPTERS
60 TO 64, INCLUSIVE, OF THE SAINT PAUL LEGIS-
LATIVE CODE PERTAINING TO USE DISTRICTS, HEIGHT
DISTRICTS AND REZONING AND GRANTING SPECIAL USE
PERMITS PERTAINING TO CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE
CITY OF SAINT PAUL, AS AMENDED. THIS IS AN
EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RENDERED NECESSARY FOR THE
PRESERVATION OF THE PUBLIC PEACE, HEALTH, AND �-
SAFETY.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1
That the Zoning Code, Chapters 60 to 64, inclusive, of i
the Saint Paul Legislative Code, pertaining to Use Districts, Height
Districts and rezoning and granting special use permits pertaining
to certain properties in the City of Saint Paul, as amended, be and
the same hereby is further amended in the following particulars,
to -wit:
That paragraph (m) of
Saint Paul Legislative Code be
mended by adding thereto as the
following sentence, to -wit:
Section 64.03 of Chapter 64 of
and said paragraph (m) hereby is
second sentence of the same the
' "Permit the construction, establishment,.main-
tenance and operation of a Special Purpose Off -
Street Parking Facility, in a 'tCu• Residence Dis-
trict, on a tract or parcel of land embracing
three platted lots or equivalent area, four plat -
�ed lots or equivalent area, or five platted lots
or equivalent area, immediately or save for the
intervention of a public street or alley adjoin-
ing premises classified in either a Commercial
District or a Light Industry District or actually
employed for a commercial or light industry use
nonconforming and valid at its inception and
where the subject tract or parcel of land located
in such "C" Residence District, together with
immediately adjoining land in such Commercial
District or such Light Industry District con-
stitute a plot of land in a single ownership
allocated to a single purpose, a permit,may be
granted for-the extension of the Commercial
District or Light Industry District use over

SECTION 2
This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public
peace, health, and safety.
SECTION 3
J This ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon its
passage, approval, and publication.
