I PRESENTED BY ORDINANCE NO. / An ordinance increasing the taxing limitations to provide additional budget 'funds for the Board of Education of the City of Saint Paul. This is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That the limitation'on real and personal property taxes be increased for the year 1965 by an amount of $2,614,072.37, which amount shall be in addition to any amount otherwise permitted by the Charter of the City of Saint Paul or applicable State statute. Sec. 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after such ratification of this ordinance by-the electorate.
