The controVler modifications on the above referenced RFP involve adding contacts and software
to tfie contro] system to pravide the emergency seQuenee mode a£ operation. L'nder this mode
af operation, when the elevatos control]er receives a generator pre-signal, it will dispatch, one at
a time, ail cars in the �'oup to the access egress ievel and park the cars at that level with the doors
open. At that time, pravided the system is in the sutornstic mode of operatio�, ell cars wit[ then
be atiowed to answer calls, However, the contrpt system will not allow simultaireous operation
of any cars wiihin the group.
In addition, a three-position lcey switch wilt be locatod at the access agress levei ( code required).
This key switch will a{low automatic operation, ar the seieeiion of a specific car within the group,
to operate on emergency pawer. Selecting a specific car wilt render the remaining cars
inoperable.
