WHEREAS, the adopted 1997 Capital Improvement Budget includes an appropriation of $60,000.00 for the
Children's Play Area Equipment Program (CPAEP) admin.istered by the Division of Pazks and Recreation, and
WHEREAS, the Maacfield School Playground project is among the projects to receive matching CPAEP grants of up
to $20,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the Ma�"ield School Playground project has safisfied all program requirements and pL1ns have been
approved and accepted by Saint Paul Public Schools - Disuict 625, and
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Public Schools - District 625 is the fiscal agent for the project,
THEREFORE, it is order that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and d'uected to pay the Saint Paul
Public Schools - District 625, 360 Colborne Avenue, Saint Paul, MN, 55102-3299, an amount not to cxceed $20,000.00 for
the project.
