The site is presently vacant and of a rolling terrain.- As indicated on the petition, it is proposed to develop the site with a manufactur- ing type building and warehouse. The subject property consists of ' an entire city block with the exception of'one lot, and has an area of approximately 133,888 square feet, or 3.08 acres. The Board of Zoning considered this matter at its regular meeting on May 14, 1964. The staff reported that the predominant characteristics of the properties between Pierce Butler Route and the Great Northern Railroad right- of- way`are industrial and that the proposed rezoning was in conformity with the Proposed Land Use Plan. Therefore, the Board of Zoning recommends the granting'of the petition to rezone the above described property to a Light Industry,.District. Sincerely, t B. R. Teig, I.P.
