AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 450.03
OF THE SAINT PAUL LEGISLATIVE CODE ENACTED

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:

Section 1. That Section 450.03 of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code, enacted October 23, 1952, be and the same
hereby is amended in the following particulars. That said
Section 450.03 reading as-follows:
"450.03. Duration of Permit Permits for such
4—aolicitation shall not be given for a longer period
than two consecutive days in any calendar year,
except for the period of time from November 1, to
December 25 of each year. Only one permit shall be
issued to any one organization at any time and shall
be for only one period of solicitation. The permit
granted shall designate the hours in which street
solicitation may be conducted,;"
hereby is amended to read as follows:
11450.Q3: Duration of Permit. Permits for such
solicitation shall not be giverr'for a longer period

for the period of time from November 1 to Thanksgiving
Day and for the period of time from the day after
'thanksgiving :Daffy to December 24 of each year. Only
one permit shall be issued to any one organization in

be conducted.
Sec. 2. Th ordinance is hereby decl ed to be an
emer cy ordinance ren ed necessary for the pre ation of
the pub peace, health an safety.

force thirty days after its passage, approval and publication.
