An ordinance amending'Chapter I of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code pertaining to Building Construction
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1

That Section 1.10 -1 Certificates of Competency of the ;Saint
Paul Legislative Code is hereby amended by deleting item c Plas-
tering and substituting the following in lieu thereoft
c. Lathing and Plastering
Section 2
That Section 1.10,3 Boards of Examiners -- Administration
of the Saint Paul Legislative Code is hereby amended by deleting
item (3) which reads as follows:
(3) Board of Examiners for Plasterers:
This Board shall be composed of the City Architect as
Chairman and four appointive members of whom one shall be
a registered architect, two shall be certified master
plasterers, and one shall be a certified journeyman plas-
terer holding a Certificate of Competency.

(3) Board of Examiners for Lathers and - Plasterers
This Board shall:be composed of the City Architect as
Chairman and five appointive members of whom one shall
be a registered architect, two shall be licensed master
plasterers, one shall be a certified journeyman plaster-
er holding a Certificate of Competency, and one shall be
a certified journeyman lather holding a Certificate of
Competency.
Section 3
That Section 1.10 -4 Certificates of Competency -- Fees For
of the Saint Paul Legislative Code is hereby amended by delet-
ing item c which reads as follows:

Master Plasterer $5.00
Journeyman Plasterer 3.00
and substitute the following in lieu thereof:

That:Section 1.10- 7.Registration of Card of Competency of
the Saint Paul Legislative Code is hereby amended by adding the
letter a. ahead of the existing paragraph and by adding the fo1-
lowing to this sections
b. Any journeyman holding a valid card of competency
as a Lather or as a Plasterer from any other municipality
in the State of Minnesota,, which has requirements for
such a card of competency equal to those of the City of
Saint Paul, as determined by the City Architect of the
City of Saint Paul, may carry on his occupation as a
Journeyman in the City of Saint Paul by registering his
card of competency with the City Architect.
Section 5
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
days from and after its passage, approval and publication.
