An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3250, entitled:
"An administrative ordinance relating to the Civil
Service Bureau of the City of Saint Paul, approving and adopting
rules and regulations therefor,"
approved August 20, 1914, as amended.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 3250, approved August 20, 1914, -
as - amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding to
-.Section, the following paragraph:
"Any' employee who sustains a permanent disability due to an
illness or injury arising out of and in the course of employment
=(a compensable case) may be reduced to any other position at
his own request and at the request of the head of the department
with the approval of the Civil Service Commissioner provided the
employee meets such achieve.mbnt, physical and medical standards,
as the Civil Service Commissioner may prescribe in the particular
case."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
days, after its passage, approval, and publication.
