An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3250, entitled:
"An administrative or&nance relating to the Civil ' -
Service Bureau of the: City of Saint Paul, approving and adopting
rules and regulations; therefor,'!
approved August 20, 1914, as amended.
THE COUNCIL_ OF THE. CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 3250, approved August .20, 1914,
as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out of
Section 11 C 3 the following:
"An oral test of the interview type may not be. used as part of an
examination for the followinrg positions:
k,
Fire Engineer
Fire Captain
District Fire Chief
Identification Technician
Park Police Sergeant
Police Sergeant.
Detective
-)Identification Officer
Police Lieutenant
Section 2. This ordinance ;shall take effect and be in force thirty
days after its. passage:, approval, and publication.
