An 'ordinance amending Chapter 339 of the
Saint Paul Legislative Code, as amended,
pertaining to the licensing and regulation
r of� peddlers. This is an emergency ordinance
rendered necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health, and safety.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section!l. That Section 339.04 of the Saint Paul Legislative
Code, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by
striking the words "food peddler's license" where the same do
appear in the first paragraph and inserting in.lieu thereof the
words "foot peddler's license ", and by striking and deleting in
its entirety the fifth paragraph which now reads:
"In addition to the above amount said persons
shall each day pay the sum of One Dollar to the
City Clerk for issuing-such license."
Section�2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an
emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety.

Section!3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force upon its passage, approval and publication.
