The property is'described as the south 100 feet of Lots 8 and 9, Block 16, Merriamts Rearr. of Merriam Park. f On November 5, 1965, the Commissioner of Finance reported the petition sufficient with the owners of 9 of a possible 13 (69.23 %) tracts of land within the required 100 foot radius having signed the petition. At the December 2, 1965,-Board of Zoning meeting, the staff reported that the property has a frontage of 100 feet on Prior Avenue and 100 feet along Carroll Avenue with an area of 10,000 square feet. The property is presently used by.,a two - family residence and print- ing shop known as Draper- Dalton Mail Advertising Letter Shop. The surrounding area is zoned "B" residence and has been since 1922.
