At the Board of Zoning meeting of January 6, 1966, the staff reported that the property was presently developed with three residential structures. The site is to be consoli- dated with the property to the east, on which there is now a filling station, and a new filling station is to be con- structed. The property to the west and north is "C" Resi- dence and to the south is land for the new interstate!high- way. Oakland Avenue is to be a frontage road, one -way going west, of the new highway. The Board is of the opinion that the highest and best useof the property is for Commercial use and, therefore, recommend that the petition to rezone to Commercial be approved. Sinc ely, NRH /mm N.
