ordinance amending Chapter 344 of the
Saint Paul Legislative Code pertaining to
Parking Lots.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 344.01 of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code is hereby amended by deleting the same
and inserting the following in lieu and in place thereof:
"344.01. As used in this Chapter, the
term "Open Air Parking Lot" means any
private premises-where ten or more motor
vehicles are parked ;",stored or allowed
to remain, and where the owner or person
storing or parking such vehicle is charged
a fee therefor."
Section 2. That Section 344.03 of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code is hereby amended by deleting the same
and inserting the following in lieu and in place thereof:
"344.03. The license fees for such parking
places shall be as follows:
(a) For parking lots with a capacity
of 25 or less motor vehicles,
the sum of Forty -Five Dollars
(45.00) per year.
(b) For parking lots with a capacity
of 26 to 50 vehicles, the sum of
Seventy Dollars ($70.00) per year.

"Whenever any person operates more than one parking
place, a separate license must be obtained for each
such parking lot. No licenses issued hereunder shall
be transferable from person to person, or place to
place."
Section 3. -This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force thirty (30) days after its passage, approval and
