An ordinance amending Chapter 370 of the
Saint Paul Legislative Code pertaining to
Hardware Stores.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 370.02 of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code is hereby amended by deleting the same
therefrom and by inserting the following in lieu and in
place thereof:

"370.02. Fee. The amount to be paid for a
license in accordance with the provisions of
370.01 is as follows:
(a) When said retail hardware store
occupies an area up to 1,000 square
feet, the license fee shall be $45.00
per year.
(b) When said store occupies an area of
from 1,001 to 5,000 square feet, the
license fee shall be $50.00 per year.
(c) When said store occupies an area of
59001 to 7,500 square feet, the license
fee shall be $55.00 per year.-
(d) When said store occupies an area over
7,500 square feet, the license fee shall
be $60.00 per year.
In determining the number of square feet in
this Section, all of the sales space, display
space and workshop space shall be included."
Section 2. This ordinance shb:ll take effect and be
in force thirty (30) days after its passage, approval and
publication. _
