An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 13052, approved
September 16, 1965, relating to permission granted to
St. Andrew's Catholic Church to excavate and construct
certain gas and oil lines under an alley.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 2, paragraph 6, of Ordinance No.
13052,.4pproved Sept.enber 16, 1965, permitting St. Andrew's Catholic
Church to excavate and construct certain gas and oil lines under an alley,
is hereby repealed and the following substituted therefor:
116. Said permittee shall furnish a bond to the City of Saint
Paul, in the sum of $5,000.00, conditioned to comply with
all the terms of this ordinance, and to indemnify and save
harmless said City from all Liability, loss, judgments, suits,
costs, charges, and expenses that may accrue to persons or
property occasioned by said work or arising out of the same."
Section 2. Said permittee, St. Andrew's Catholic Church, shall
within 30 days after the passage of this ordinance, file with the City
Clerk a written acceptance of the terms of the ordinance, and shall pay
for the costs of publication thereof.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
30 days after its passage, approval and publication.
