attending instruction meetings, including

approved Fe�ruary 6, 1952, as amended.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY�OF SAINT PAUL DOES 0$�AIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 987�, approved February 6,
7-952, as amended, be and the same is hereby further a,mended
by striking from Section 1 thereof the following: "That the
compensation of �udges of election serving at elections held
in the City of Saint Paul is hereby fixed at Fifteen Dollars
(�1�.00) per election day plus One Dollar (�1.00) per election
to the ,�udge or �udges of election designated by the City Clerk
to pick up election supplies before each election" ,
and by inserting in lieu thereof the following: "That the
compensation of �udges of election serving at eleetions held
in the City of Saint Paul is hereby figed at Eighteen Dollars
(�18.00) per election day plus Three Dollars (�3.00) to the
�udge designated by the City� Clerk as cha.irman of the election
board plus One Dollar (�1.00) to the �udge or �udges of election
designated by the City Clerk to pick up electior�. supplies before
each election; and the compensation of �udges of election for _ ,
attending i'nstruction meetings is hereby fixed at One Dollar
+(�1.00) per meeting plus bus fare". _ _ _ . __ _ ^ _
� � Section� 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force thirty days after its passage, approval and publication.
